A penguin with a heart-shaped face

Penguins are a winter favourite. Ours stands upright with its flippers slightly out.

The white face is shaped like a heart, which runs down into a white belly. Small orange feet stick out at the bottom. The flippers are short and chunky, so they survive the tape and the stuffing, and the whole outline is round enough that the scissors never have to turn sharply.

Navy is dark. Let felt tip dry well.

How to make the penguin

1. Print at 100 % and colour the body navy and the beak and feet orange.
2. Leave the heart-shaped face and the belly white.
3. Tape both penguins and cut along the grey border round the flippers.
4. Join the penguins back to back, one side left open.
5. Stuff the body, keep the feet flat and close the gap.

Penguin and sea squishies

The penguin squishy has big eyes and rises slowly, 13.5 cm tall. The mochi whale and the seal dumpling join it.
