Cherry Paper Squishy Template, Two Cherries

The cherry paper squishy template is a pair of shiny red cherries joined by green stems with a leaf between them, free to print. Each cherry has its own little face. Two faces on one squishy make it a nice one for best friends.

Quick answer

Print the page at 100 % and colour the cherries red. Tape both halves, then let an adult cut round the stems. Join the halves and stuff both cherries. Keep it away from children under three.

Two cherries on one stem

Real cherry stems are thin. Ours are thick, because a thin stem would rip as soon as you tape it.

Two cherries with their own faces

The two cherries hang side by side. Each is a shiny red circle with a white highlight and a tiny face. The stems meet at the top under a green leaf, and the back shows the cherries without faces.

The gap between the stems is the one spot that needs the scissor tip, so an adult should take over there while the kids get on with colouring the second cherry.

How to make the cherry squishy

  1. Print at 100 % and colour the cherries red. Leave a white shine spot on each.
  2. Colour the stems and the leaf green.
  3. Tape both halves and press the tape into the gap between the stems.
  4. An adult cuts round the grey border and between the stems.
  5. Tape the halves together, stuff each cherry separately with a pencil and close them.

Leave the stems unstuffed. Then the cherries swing a little when you hold them by the leaf. More help is in our paper squishy guide, and the strawberry is in the template collection.

Cherry red squishies

We don't sell a cherry squishy yet. The giant strawberry is red and slow rising, and the berry tart has cherries of its own.

FAQ

Why are the cherry stems so thick?

Thin stems tear when you tape them. The thick ones survive cutting and squeezing.

Do both cherries need stuffing?

Yes, stuff each one separately. The stems stay flat.

How big is the cherry pair?

The big pair is 9 x 10 cm and the small pair 6 x 6 cm.
