Fried Egg Paper Squishy Template, Sunny Side Up
Our fried egg paper squishy template is a sunny side up egg with a wavy white edge and a round yellow yolk, free to print. The yolk wears the face. On the back the white gets a golden crispy rim, like an egg that stayed in the pan a bit longer.
Quick answer
Print at 100 % and colour the yolk bright yellow. Seal both halves under clear tape and trim them on the grey line. Tape them together and stuff the yolk area most. Grown-ups cut, and the egg stays out of reach of children under three.

Sunny side up with a smile
The fried egg is the flattest breakfast shape we drew. Its edge wobbles in big soft waves, the way egg white spreads in a hot pan, so there are no corners at all.

All the colour sits in the yolk. Everything else is white. That makes it a cheap print and a quick colouring job.
Waves are easy to follow with scissors. Small hands do fine here.

Cooking up a paper egg
- Print the page at 100 % and colour only the yolk.
- On the back, shade the edge golden for a crispy rim.
- Cover both halves with wide tape and cut round the wavy grey border.
- Tape them back to back with short pieces that follow the waves.
- Stuff the middle under the yolk more than the edge, then close it.
A puffy yolk and a flatter white look most like a real egg. Every step of the method is in our paper squishy guide. Pair it with the toast from the template collection.
Egg squishies to squeeze
The egg yolk ball is a coconut oil squishy. The onigiri chick and the take-apart burger both come with a fried egg.

FAQ
How big is the fried egg template?
9 x 8 cm for the big egg and 6 x 6 cm for the small. The 5 cm line checks the print.
Is the egg good for small kids?
The wavy edge has no points, so it's easy to cut. An adult still holds the scissors, and it's not for children under three.
Can I make two yolks?
Draw a second yolk on the outline page. Keep the outer edge as it is.
