Cactus Paper Squishy Template in a Pot

The cactus paper squishy template is a green cactus with two arms and tiny spines, topped with a pink flower, in a terracotta pot, free to print. The face is on the cactus. The spines are just printed dots, so nothing pokes.

Quick answer

Print it at 100 % and colour the cactus green and the pot terracotta. Tape both halves, then an adult cuts round the arms. Join them and stuff the cactus, then the pot. It isn't meant for children under three.

A cactus with a flower

Cacti are the only plants you can squeeze without regret. Ours has two chunky arms.

The arms curve up on each side. A pink flower sits on top and tiny spine dots cover the green. The pot is terracotta, and on the back it carries a pink heart, so the back side is worth showing off as well when the cactus sits on a desk.

The arms need careful cutting.

Making the cactus squishy

  1. Print at 100 % and colour the cactus green, the flower pink and the pot terracotta.
  2. Tape both halves and press the tape between the arms and the body.
  3. An adult cuts along the grey border round each arm.
  4. Tape the halves together and leave the bottom of the pot open.
  5. Stuff the arms with a pencil, then the body and the pot, and close it.

Stuff the arms lightly so they don't split. Our paper squishy guide covers the steps, and the potted plant is in the template collection.

Cactus squishies to squeeze

The jumbo cactus is a kawaii foam squishy. The spiky frog and the crunchy cucumber stay in the green family.
