Cat Paper Squishy Template, Free Kawaii Cat Face
Our cat paper squishy template is a round, cream coloured cat face with two pointy ears and an orange patch, free to print. On the back you see the back of its head with a few stripes. The ears are the only tricky part.
Quick answer
Print at 100 % and colour the patch and the ears. Tape both halves, then cut out the face slowly around the ears. Join the halves with narrow tape and stuff the ears first. An adult cuts the tight curves, and paper squishies aren't for children under three.

A round cat face with two ears
The cat was the third design in our first free PDF. Its face is almost a circle. A small pink nose and three whiskers on each cheek make it look like a cat even before you colour anything, which is handy for the outline version.

The colour version has an orange patch on one ear and pink inside both ears. The outline version leaves everything white, which works well for kids who want a grey or a black cat. On the back three curved lines mark the stripes on the head.
Those ears have tight curves. A grown-up cuts them.

Making the cat squishy
- Print the page at actual size and colour both halves, or pick the outline page and invent your own cat.
- Cover the faces with wide clear tape, grey border too, and smooth it out from the nose.
- Cut round the outside of the grey border, slowly into the corner between the ears.
- Put the halves together with the colour outside and tape the edge in short pieces, so the tape doesn't lift at the ears.
- Leave a gap at the chin and push a little stuffing into each ear with a pencil first.
- Fill the rest of the face, then tape the chin closed.
Ears that stay flat usually got no stuffing at all, so use a pencil tip for them. More help with seams is in the paper squishy guide. Want another animal? The template collection has a cat paw too.
Cat squishies to squeeze right away
These three are foam cats from our shop. The one holding an ice cream rises slowly and is scented, according to the maker.

FAQ
How big is the cat template?
The big cat face is 9 x 9 cm and the small one 6 x 6 cm. Both sizes include the grey border.
Why do the cat's ears tear when I stuff them?
The tape strips were probably too long and lifted at the curves. Patch the ear with short pieces and push the stuffing in gently with a pencil.
Can my class make the cat?
Yes, the template is free for school use. Many primary school kids manage it when an adult cuts the ears for them.
