Snap first, squish second. That's the order of things with this crunchy carrot squishy, a long orange root with soft ridges and a crispy skin over slow rising PU foam.

What happens when you squeeze a crunchy carrot?

Run your thumb down its length and the skin cracks with a proper crunch. Fine lines stay behind on the surface.

No two carrots end up with the same pattern, so yours turns into a one-off after the first round. The foam below stays soft and rises back slowly.

How long is the carrot?

The maker gives 13 cm for the whole crispy PU series and doesn't say which vegetable that refers to. Roughly speaking, the carrot is about as long as an open hand is wide.

Shape	carrot with soft ridges
Outside	crispy skin that cracks
Inside	PU foam, slow rising
Size	13 cm (5.1 in), given for the series
Contents	1 piece

A vegetable in the snack drawer

Crunchy fans who already own a fruit bowl full of squishies get something from the garden for once. It pairs up with the crunchy cucumber from the same maker. Pop both into a gift bag and you've basically packed a salad.

Foam soaks up water and takes ages to dry. A damp cloth is all the skin needs. Keep the carrot out of the sun and away from the radiator, and never cut it open.

Not suitable for children under 3 years.

Want more snap? Our crunchy squishies are the noisy corner of the shop.
