Foam beads make a paper squishy filling that moves. The tiny pastel balls shift around when you squeeze, so the squishy feels nothing like one stuffed with fiberfill.

How much is in the bag?

100 g of mixed beads in four pastel shades. That sounds small. It isn't, because the beads weigh almost nothing and 100 g is a lot of them.

How do you fill a paper squishy with foam beads?

Leave a gap open when you tape the two halves together. Roll a sheet of paper into a funnel, pour the beads through and tape the gap shut straight away.

Don't fill it to bursting. A squishy packed too tight hardly squishes at all, and a little room lets the beads roll.

Open the bag over a tray. Stray beads land there instead of under the sofa, and you can tip them back in.
