Waffle Paper Squishy Template with Butter and Syrup
The waffle paper squishy template is a square golden waffle with a grid of pockets, a pat of butter and maple syrup dripping from the top, free to print. The face is on the grid. Square sides make it quick to cut.
Quick answer
Print at 100 % and colour the syrup a deep amber. Tape both halves, cut out the square and join the halves. Stuff it evenly so the grid stays flat. Keep it away from kids under three, and an adult cuts.

A square waffle with syrup
Waffles pair nicely with the pancakes in our collection. This one is square, with rounded corners.

The grid of little pockets covers the whole front. A yellow pat of butter sits on top and syrup runs down the sides in soft drips. The back has the grid without butter or face.
The drips give the outline a few gentle bumps. Nothing tricky.

How to make the waffle squishy
- Print at 100 % and colour the waffle golden, the butter yellow and the syrup amber.
- Let felt tip dry, then tape both squares fully.
- Cut along the outer edge of the grey border.
- Tape the halves back to back along three sides.
- Stuff through the fourth side and close it.
A square shape gets lumpy in the corners. Push a little stuffing into each with a pencil. Read our paper squishy guide for the details, and grab the pancakes from the template collection too.

FAQ
How big is the waffle?
The big waffle is 9 x 9 cm, the small one 6 x 6 cm.
Can I make a strawberry waffle?
Yes. Draw red strawberries instead of the butter on the outline page.
Why does the grid look wavy after stuffing?
Too much stuffing pushes the paper out. Use less and spread it evenly.
