Snail Paper Squishy Template with Spiral Shell
Our snail paper squishy template is a snail with a pink spiral shell on its back, a soft peach body and two eye stalks with round tips, free to print. The face sits on the head. The spiral is printed, so the outline stays one simple shape.
Quick answer
Print at 100 % and colour the shell pink. Tape both halves and let an adult cut round the eye stalks. Join them, stuff the shell well and the body lightly. Snails made of paper aren't for under-threes.

A snail with a spiral shell
Snails are slow and sweet. Ours carries a big pink shell.

The spiral winds into the middle of the shell. The body is soft peach and stretches out in front with two eye stalks. Because the snail faces one way, the back is mirrored, and the spiral there is plain, so you can colour it a different pink if you like.
The eye stalks are the only fiddly bit.

Making the snail squishy
- Print at 100 % and colour the shell pink and the body peach.
- Tape both snails, then an adult cuts along the grey border round the eye stalks.
- Line up the halves and tape round the edge.
- Stuff the shell through a gap at the bottom, a little into the body.
- Leave the eye stalks flat and close the gap.
The shell holds most of the stuffing. Our paper squishy guide explains each step, and the ladybug is in the template collection.

FAQ
Do I cut along the spiral?
No. The spiral is printed. You only cut round the outside.
How big is the snail?
The big snail is 9 x 6 cm and the small one 6 x 4 cm.
Will the eye stalks tear?
They have round tips and stay unstuffed, so they hold up well.
