Duck Paper Squishy Template, Yellow Rubber Duck

The duck paper squishy template is a yellow rubber duck seen from the side, with an orange beak, a little tail and a wing, free to print. It has one kawaii eye and a pink cheek. A side view gives it a nice bath-toy outline.

Quick answer

Print it at 100 % and colour the duck yellow. Tape both halves and cut them out on the grey border. The back is mirrored, so the beaks meet when you join them. Stuff the body and close it. A grown-up cuts round the beak, and it's not for under-threes.

A rubber duck from the side

Rubber ducks are bath-time classics. Ours sits as if floating, with its tail up.

Yellow rubber duck from the side

The beak is orange and rounded. A wing rests on its side, drawn as a soft curve. The back is mirrored and plain yellow, so when you put the halves together the beak on the back points the same way as the one on the front, and the duck looks right from both sides.

Beak and tail are the only bumps.

Paper ducks don't like water. Keep this one out of the bath. Our paper squishy guide explains each step, and the chick is in the template collection.

FAQ

Can the paper duck go in the bath?

No. Water soaks into the paper and the stuffing. Wipe it with a barely damp cloth at most.

Why is the back mirrored?

The duck faces one way. A mirrored back makes both beaks point the same direction once joined.

What size is the duck?

The big duck is 9 x 7 cm, the small 6 x 5 cm.
