A milk carton with a gable roof

A real milk carton has a pointed roof and a flat fin on top. Ours has both, which takes a couple more steps than the butter boxes.

Cow spots cover the white sides and the roof panels are blue. A small face sits on the front. The two top fins are glued back to back, just like the sealed top of a real carton, and that last step is what makes the carton look finished.

A few more steps than the butter boxes.

How to fold the milk carton

  1. Print at actual size. The legend square should measure 1 cm.
  2. Cut out the carton net and fold all its lines.
  3. Close the sides with the upright tab, then glue in the bottom.
  4. Glue both roof panels onto the gable tabs.
  5. Glue the two top fins back to back.

Let each glued part hold before the next. Our paper squishy templates guide shows this net with the others, and the flat cow milk carton squishy is in the template collection.

Milk squishies to squeeze

Our foam jumbo milk carton takes 5 to 7 seconds to rise again, the maker says. The milk block and the highland cow fit the theme.

A blue washi strip along the roof edge looks smart.
