Round, clear and in no hurry. Our maltose ball squishy is made of jelly-like TPR that you can squash into any shape, and then it slowly works its way back to a ball.

How slow is a maltose taffy squishy?

Slow enough to watch. The maker doesn't put a number on it, so try it yourself. Squeeze it into a flat disc, set it on the table and count until it looks round again.

Which of the nine styles?

Each one looks different inside. Spring daisies has tiny flowers sealed in the gel, while strawberry mochi hides a red center. The two frosted balls have a matte look.

Ocean blue and mint blue stay clear like a boiled sweet. Green grape, pink and a coconut oil look round out the choice.

Care for jelly TPR

Wipe the outside with a soft damp cloth and leave it at room temperature. Heat and sharp edges are its enemies. To check for sweating, wrap a tissue around the ball and press lightly. A wet mark tells you it leaks.
