Hot Dog Paper Squishy Template with Mustard
This hot dog paper squishy template is a red-brown sausage with a yellow mustard zigzag in a soft golden bun, free to print. The face sits on the front of the bun. It's long and low, like a real hot dog.
Quick answer
Print at 100 % and draw the mustard zigzag in yellow. Once both halves are taped and cut out, tape them together. Fill the bun from one end. A grown-up cuts, and it isn't for kids under three.

A hot dog with mustard
Hot dogs are a fun one for a fast food set. The outline is a long rounded bun with the sausage poking out at both ends.

The sausage sits on top of the bun with a zigzag of mustard. The bun is soft gold and wraps round the bottom. On the back you'll see the bun only.
Long shapes need tape laid along their length. Fewer strips, fewer creases.

Making the hot dog squishy
- Print the page at actual size and colour the sausage red-brown and the bun gold.
- Lay one long strip of wide tape along each half, then add a second if needed.
- Cut out round the grey border.
- Tape the halves back to back along the bottom and the top.
- Stuff from one end, pushing filling towards the other end with a pencil, then close it.
Long squishies are easy to over-stuff in the middle. Spread the filling evenly. Every step is in our paper squishy guide, and fries are in the template collection.

FAQ
How long is the hot dog?
The big one measures 9 x 5 cm, the small one 6 x 3 cm.
Can I add ketchup?
Yes. Draw a red zigzag next to the mustard before taping.
Why is my hot dog lumpy?
The stuffing went in in big clumps. Push in small bits one at a time and spread them along the bun.
