Christmas Paper Squishy Templates, Star, Bauble and Tree

Our Christmas paper squishy templates fit on one free sheet: a gold star, a red bauble, a green tree and a snowman butter block. Each comes as a front and a back. One print gives you four small squishies.

Quick answer

Print at 100 % and colour the four shapes. Tape the whole sheet, cut out the eight halves and pair each front with its back. Stuff them lightly because they're small. An adult cuts the star points and the tree. These little ones aren't for children under three.

Four Christmas shapes on one sheet

This mixed sheet sits at the end of our Christmas PDF. It's made for decorating, with four shapes that look nice in a row.

Star, bauble, tree and snowman butter

The star is golden yellow with a face. The bauble is red with gold stripes and a little cap. The tree is green with coloured lights and a brown trunk, and the snowman butter is a white block with a red scarf band.

The star points and the tree branches are the fiddly bits. Leave them to an adult.

Making the Christmas squishies

  1. Print at actual size and colour each shape. Gold pencil works well for the star.
  2. Cover the whole sheet with wide tape in overlapping strips.
  3. Cut out the eight halves along the grey borders. An adult does the star and the tree.
  4. Pair every front with its back and tape round the edges, with a small gap left open.
  5. Stuff each one lightly and close the gaps.

Four small squishies fit nicely into advent calendar bags or a Christmas card. Read our paper squishy guide for the full method. The gingerbread man and the snowman are in the template collection as big shapes.

FAQ

How big are the Christmas shapes?

They're small squishies, each about 6 x 6 cm. All four fit on one A4 sheet.

Can I print the sheet for a class?

Yes, as many copies as you need, at school or at home. Each child gets four small squishies from one page.

Which shape is easiest?

The bauble and the snowman butter, because they're round or straight. The star and the tree have points that need an adult.
