Butter Squishy

A butter squishy looks like a block of butter and squeezes the way you hope it would. Press it flat and it rises back slowly. Some are soft foam all the way through, others hide a gel filling under the skin.

Butter squishy

Butter squishies came in with the food trend and they still sit near the top of what people search for. Most are yellow blocks with a printed paper wrapper. The cheese wedges with holes belong to the same family.

Inside there are two kinds. Foam butter is soft PU foam that rises back after a squeeze. The gel kind has a skin over a filling that pulls and stretches but doesn't spring back the same way. Check the product description before you buy so you know which one you get.

Never bite or cut open a gel filling. Keep every squishy out of the microwave and off the radiator. A new one can smell a little when it comes out of the bag, and a day or two of fresh air usually sorts that out.

Most butter squishies cost €7.99 or €9.99. Put two or three other squishies next to one and you reach free shipping at €39.90 quickly.

Are butter squishies slow rising?

The foam ones are. They come back over a few seconds after you let go. Butter squishies with a gel filling stay soft and stretchy instead.

What is a butter squishy made of?

Either soft PU foam or a skin with a gel filling inside. Both feel soft in the hand. Only the foam version bounces back properly.

Is a butter squishy safe for kids?

Our squishies are meant for ages 3 and up and they don't belong in anyone's mouth. We don't stock squishies with water bead or sand fillings. If the skin tears, throw the squishy away.
