Why is my cucumber squishy? In this case, on purpose. The crunchy cucumber squishy is dark green with little bumps, and its crispy outer skin cracks under your thumb on the first squeezes.

What's inside the crunchy cucumber?

Soft PU foam. Once the skin has cracked, fine white lines spread all over it and the cucumber stays soft from then on. Press it and it rises back slowly.

Does it keep crunching?

The crunch belongs to the first squeezes. After that you own a slow rising foam cucumber with a crackled look, and that pattern is what makes each one a little different.

How big is it?

It fills an open palm. For the whole crispy PU series the maker lists 13 cm, without tying that number to one vegetable.

Shape	cucumber with little bumps
Outside	crispy skin, cracks on the first squeezes
Inside	PU foam, slow rising
Size	fills a palm (series: 13 cm / 5.1 in)
Contents	1 piece

Next to the crunchy carrot from the same maker it starts a small vegetable patch on the desk. Pickle lovers get a gift they can't eat by accident.

Water and foam don't mix well, because the foam stays wet inside for ages. A damp cloth over the skin does the job. Keep it in the shade and never leave it squashed flat for days.

Not suitable for children under 3 years.

The rest of the noisy bunch lives in our crunchy squishies.
