Mitten Paper Squishy Template, Knitted Teal Mitten
Our mitten paper squishy template is a cosy teal knitted mitten with a thumb, a fluffy white cuff and a pink heart, free to print. The face is on the mitten. The back has small pink hearts instead.
Quick answer
Print at 100 % and colour the mitten teal. Tape both halves, cut out on the grey line and join them. Stuff the thumb first, then the hand. A grown-up cuts round the thumb. Not for children under three.

A knitted mitten with a heart
Mittens mean snow days and hot drinks. Ours has a fluffy cuff at the wrist.
The teal mitten has a soft knit look and a pink heart. The thumb sticks out to one side. Because of that thumb, the back is mirrored, so both thumbs point the same way when the halves go together and you end up with one proper mitten instead of a confused pair.
The thumb notch needs care.

Making the mitten squishy
- Print at 100 % and colour the mitten teal and the heart pink.
- Tape both mittens and cut along the grey border round the thumb.
- Line up the thumbs and tape round the edge.
- Leave the cuff open, stuff the thumb, then the hand.
- Close the cuff.

Can I make a pair of mittens?
Print two sheets. The second mitten can be a different colour on the outline page.
What size is the mitten?
The big one is 8 x 10 cm. The small one is 5 x 6 cm.
Why is the back mirrored?
The thumb points one way. A mirrored back lines it up.
