Nano tape bubbles start as a flat strip of this clear tape. Both sides stick. Fold a strip over a straw and the edges seal themselves, then you blow it into a soft little bubble.

How many bubbles does a 5 m roll make?

Plenty. One bubble takes a strip of roughly 14 cm (5.5 in), so there's room for practice and for the one that came out lopsided. The roll is 3 cm wide, a good size for first tries.

Width	3 cm (1.2 in)
Thickness	1 mm
Length	5 m
Type	clear, sticky on both sides

What can go inside a nano tape bubble?

Glitter or sprinkles. Scatter them on the sticky side before you fold, and don't press the middle down afterwards, because that's where the air has to go. A face drawn on the outside with a felt tip turns the bubble into a little creature.

How long does a tape bubble last?

Not forever, and we'd rather say so. The good news is that making the next one is half the fun. Keep the peeled backing film as a mat, since nothing sticks to it.

Want chunkier bubbles? There's also a 5 cm roll, and striped straws sit right next to it in our DIY squishy supplies.

Not for children under 3, small parts can be swallowed. An adult does the cutting.
