Banana Paper Squishy Template, Curved and Yellow
Our banana paper squishy template is a curved yellow banana with a brown stem tip and darker ends, free to print. The face sits in the middle of the curve. Long and slim, it's a quick one to make.
Quick answer
Print it at 100 % and colour the banana yellow. Tape both halves, cut along the grey edge and put them back to back. Stuff it evenly from one end. A grown-up cuts, and paper bananas aren't for kids under three.

A curved banana
A banana is the only long fruit in our collection. It curves gently, and that matters, because tape laid along a soft bend stays smooth while a sharp bend makes it pucker and lift. Good news for beginners.
The ends turn a little darker and the stem tip is brown. The back shows a few brown speckles, like a banana that's just right to eat. Kids who like their bananas spotty can add more speckles with a brown pencil before taping.
Lay the tape along the banana, not across it.

Making the banana squishy
- Print at 100 % and colour the banana yellow with brown ends.
- Lay one strip of wide tape along the curve of each half.
- Cut out on the outside of the grey border.
- Tape the halves back to back along the inner curve.
- Stuff through the outer curve, push filling into the ends with a pencil and close it.

Why does my banana crease on the inside curve?
The tape was laid across the curve. Lay it along the banana and use short pieces on the inner edge.
Can I add a peeled banana?
Not with this template. Colour the top end cream on the outline page for a half-peeled look.
