Press this pink owl squishy flat like a pancake and watch it fill back out, slowly and bit by bit. It's a slow rising squishy with big eyes and teal feather marks down its belly.

How slow is a slow rising owl?

The maker gives no rise time. So try it yourself.

Press the owl flat with your palm, let go and count until the wings are round again. Keep an eye on the deep pink dots on the wings, because they drift back into place as the owl rises.

Does the owl fit in your hand?

The round shape sits nicely in a cupped hand. Exact measurements aren't in the maker's info.

An owl for night owls

Owl fans will want it on the shelf next to their books. It's also a sweet little gift for anyone who stays up late and has the coffee mug to prove it. The pink owl turns up in our slow rising sets too.

More creatures are waiting in our squishy animals.

Cleaning a pink owl

The maker doesn't say what it's made of, so go gentle. A damp cloth dabbed over the feathers is enough, then it dries on its own. Don't hold it under the tap, and keep it away from the radiator. Store it loosely so nothing squashes it for days.
