Pumpkin Paper Squishy Template, Cute Not Scary

For readers in the USA: here we sell our squishies as stress balls and collectibles for ages 14 and up. They are not toys for children. Any age tips in this guide apply to our shops outside the USA.

Our pumpkin paper squishy template is an orange pumpkin with rounded segments, a brown stem and a green leaf, free to print. The face is cute, not scary, with pink cheeks. It works for Halloween and for the whole autumn.

Quick answer

Print at 100 % and colour the pumpkin orange. Tape over both pumpkins, cut them out and set them back to back. Fill it until it's nicely round. An adult cuts the stem and leaf, and it's not for children under three.

A cute orange pumpkin

Pumpkins mean autumn. Ours smiles instead of scaring anyone.

Orange pumpkin with a cute face

Rounded segments bulge out at the sides. The stem is short and brown, with a green leaf next to it. The back shows the segments without a face, so you could even draw a spooky jack-o'-lantern face there for the Halloween side and keep the cute one at the front.

Bumpy sides cut easily.

Making the pumpkin squishy

  1. Print at 100 % and colour the pumpkin orange and the lines between segments darker.
  2. Colour the stem brown and the leaf green.
  3. Tape both pumpkins and cut round the grey border.
  4. Tape round the pumpkins and keep the bottom open.
  5. Stuff the pumpkin round and close the gap.

Round and plump looks best. Our paper squishy guide covers the steps, and the ghost and the fox are in the template collection.

Halloween and autumn squishies

The witch and the ghost squishies rise slowly. The baked sweet potato is orange and slow rising too.
