Pudding Paper Squishy Template, Purin with Caramel
For readers in the USA: here we sell our squishies as stress balls and collectibles for ages 14 and up. They are not toys for children. Any age tips in this guide apply to our shops outside the USA.
Our pudding paper squishy template is a Japanese custard pudding, called purin, with brown caramel dripping from the top, a dollop of cream and a red cherry, on a light blue plate, free to print. The face sits on the custard. It looks wobbly even on paper.
Quick answer
Print at 100 % and colour the caramel brown. Tape over the puddings, cut them out and put them back to back. Stuff the custard and leave the plate flat. An adult cuts round the cherry. Kids under three shouldn't have it.

A custard pudding on a plate
Purin is a favourite kawaii dessert. The shape is a wide dome on a flat plate.
Caramel runs down from the top in drips. A white cream swirl and a red cherry sit on top. The light blue plate gives the shape a flat base, which helps the finished squishy sit upright on a shelf instead of rolling over.
The cherry is the only bump.

Making the pudding squishy
- Print at 100 % and colour the custard yellow and the caramel brown.
- Colour the plate light blue and the cherry red.
- Tape over both halves and cut along the outside of the grey border.
- Tape the halves back to back and leave the plate side open.
- Stuff the custard, keep the plate flat and close it.

The crunchy pudding has a caramel top. The canelé is a 9 cm French pastry, and the mochi rice cake is stretchy.
