Pineapple Paper Squishy Template with Leaf Crown
For readers in the USA: here we sell our squishies as stress balls and collectibles for ages 14 and up. They are not toys for children. Any age tips in this guide apply to our shops outside the USA.
Our pineapple paper squishy template is a yellow-orange pineapple with a diamond pattern and a crown of five rounded green leaves, free to print. The face sits on the fruit. The leaves are rounded on purpose, so there are no sharp points to tear.
Quick answer
Print at 100 % and colour the diamonds. Tape both halves, let an adult cut round the leaf crown and join the halves. Stuff the fruit, then a little into each leaf. Keep the finished fruit away from children under three.

A pineapple with a leaf crown
Real pineapple leaves are spiky. Ours are round at the tips, which makes the crown possible to cut and stuff.

The fruit has a diamond grid in yellow and orange. Five green leaves fan out on top. On the back you see the pattern only, and if you leave the outline page uncoloured, kids get a lot of little diamonds to fill in one by one.
The crown takes patience. An adult cuts the gaps.

How to make the pineapple
- Print at 100 % and colour the diamonds yellow and orange, the leaves green.
- Tape both halves and press the tape between the leaves.
- An adult cuts along the grey border round the crown.
- Tape the halves back to back with short strips at the leaves.
- Stuff the fruit through the bottom, a pinch into the crown with a pencil, and close it.
Leaves that tear usually got too much stuffing. A pinch each is enough. Seams are explained in our paper squishy guide. A lemon and a mango are in the template collection.

FAQ
How big is the pineapple?
The big one, crown included, is 6 x 10 cm. Shrunk down, it's 4 x 6 cm.
Why are the leaves round and not spiky?
Spiky tips tear the tape. Round tips stay in one piece.
Is the pineapple hard to make?
The crown makes it medium. With an adult cutting it, kids can do the rest.
