Pancake Paper Squishy Template, Stack with Syrup

This pancake paper squishy template is a stack of three golden pancakes with a cube of butter and syrup running down, free to print. The big stack is about 9 x 6 cm. It's wide and low, which makes it a nice palm-sized squeeze.
Quick answer
Print at 100 % and colour the syrup a deep brown. Tape both halves, cut them out and join them back to back. Stuff the stack evenly from one side. Paper squishies aren't for children under three, and a grown-up handles the scissors.

Three pancakes, butter and syrup
The pancakes are one of nine food shapes in our second template PDF. Each layer has a soft wave at the edge.
Syrup drips over the top layer in a wavy line and a yellow butter cube sits in the middle. The face smiles from the middle pancake. The back shows the same stack with syrup but no face.
The butter cube sticks up a bit. Go slow there. After that the scissors follow nothing but gentle curves, and most kids can finish the cutting on their own while someone watches.

How to make the pancake squishy
- Print at actual size and colour the pancakes golden, the syrup brown and the butter yellow.
- Give felt tip a few minutes to dry, then cover both halves with wide clear tape.
- Cut along the outer edge of the grey border, going round the butter cube carefully.
- Put the halves back to back and tape the sides with short pieces.
- Leave one end open, stuff the stack evenly and tape it shut.

FAQ
How big is the pancake template?
Roughly 9 x 6 cm for the big stack and 6 x 4 cm for the small one, measured from the outside of the grey edge.
Why does the syrup smudge under the tape?
Felt tip was still wet. Let it dry for a few minutes before taping, or use coloured pencils.
Can I make a taller stack?
Not with this template, but you can draw extra layers on the outline page. Keep the outline smooth so the tape lies flat.
