Dinosaur Paper Squishy Template, Chubby and Green

Our dinosaur paper squishy template is a chubby green dinosaur seen from the side, with darker green back plates, a pale yellow belly, a short tail and stubby legs, free to print. It has a kawaii eye, a cheek and a smile. Short legs and a short tail keep it sturdy.
Quick answer
Print at 100 % and colour the plates darker green. Tape both halves, then an adult cuts round the plates and legs. The back is mirrored, so the halves match. Fill the body and seal it. Dinos made of paper and tape aren't for kids under three.

A chubby green dinosaur
Dinosaurs are a top pick for kids. Ours is chubby, with no skinny neck or long tail to tear.
Rounded back plates run along its spine in a darker green. The belly is pale yellow. The back is mirrored, so the plates and the tail line up when you put the halves together, and the dino looks the same whichever way you turn it.
The plates take the most cutting time.

How to make the dinosaur
- Print with scaling off and colour the body green and the plates darker.
- Leave the belly pale yellow.
- Tape both dinos, then an adult cuts along the grey border round the plates and legs.
- Lay the halves back to back so the plates line up and tape the edge.
- Stuff through a gap under the belly and close it.
