Pastel Butter Paper Squishy Templates, Four Colours

The pastel butter paper squishy template puts four butter blocks on one free sheet, in pink, mint, lilac and light blue. Each block is about 7.6 x 5.4 cm. That's one sheet for four small squishies.
Quick answer
Print the sheet at 100 %, then tape and cut out all eight halves. Pair each front with the back in the same colour, join them with narrow tape and stuff them lightly. Kids can colour and stuff while an adult cuts. Keep the finished butters away from toddlers under three.

Four butters in four soft colours
Pastel butters were the colour trend of the butter squishy wave. So we drew the same block four times, changed only the colour and squeezed all four onto a single A4 page with their backs right next to them.
Every block has a face on the front, a shine line on top and a small curl on the back. The backs are mirrored, so pink goes with pink and mint with mint. Mixing them up is the most common slip.
Four small squishies take longer than one big one. Cutting is the slow part.

Making four pastel butters
- Print at actual size and keep the fronts and backs of each colour together.
- Tape over the whole sheet at once if your tape is wide enough. It saves time.
- Cut out all eight halves along the grey border.
- Match each front with the back of the same colour. Tape round the edge but leave a small gap.
- Stuff the blocks lightly, because small shapes go hard quickly.
- Close the gaps and line the four butters up.
Small blocks need only a pinch of stuffing. A pencil pushes it into the corners. Our paper squishy guide has the full method, and the yellow block is in the template collection too.

The pastel butter in our shop comes in pink, strawberry or chocolate. The rainbow butter is 13.5 cm and slow rising, says the maker.
