Five faces, one breakfast. Each kawaii toast squishy is a puffy little slice with its own character, and it fits right into your hand.

Which face should you pick?

The smiley wears a sweat drop, as if it forgot the butter. The dog comes with big brown spots and the cat with two little ears. The pig shows off a pink nose. Then there's the yellow piglet, which stands on tiny bumps for feet.

Does the toast squishy rise slowly?

Yes. It's soft PU foam that comes back bit by bit after a squeeze. The maker gives no rise time in seconds. Press a face flat with your thumb and count until it looks at you again.

According to the maker it has a light milky scent. Give it a sniff when you unpack it.

Shape	toast slice with kawaii face
Faces	smiley, dog, cat, pig, yellow piglet
Material	PU foam, slow rising
Scent	light milky aroma (maker's info)
Age	from 14, says the maker

A shelf full of toast

Lined up in a row they look sweet on a shelf or the windowsill. A single slice also slips into a gift bag for a friend who never skips breakfast. More baked foam lives in our bread squishies.

Keep the toast away from the tap, because foam soaks up water and stays wet for ages. Dab it with a damp cloth and let it air dry. Store it loose rather than squashed in a drawer.

Recommended by the maker from age 14.
