Squishies for Teens
From about eleven the squishies get louder and stranger. Crunchy pieces crackle when you press them and butter sticks sink in slowly. A few kawaii pieces carry a 14+ label from the maker. Delivery takes about 10 business days.

Squishies for teens and tweens
Crunchy squishies have tiny blocks or beads under the skin. That filling counts as small parts, so these stay with older kids and teens. Don't bite them, don't cut them open and keep them away from the radiator.
| Type | Good pick | What it feels like |
|---|---|---|
| Crunchy | Crunchy cat paw | 6 cm, crackles with every squeeze |
| Handmade crunchy | Crunchy strawberry | TPR shell with little block pieces inside |
| Butter | Jumbo butter | A 24 cm butter stick that rises back slowly |
| Kawaii 14+ | Kawaii toast with face | Slow rising foam, the maker says from 14 |
What age are crunchy squishies for?
We suggest them from about eleven. The makers print "not suitable for children under 3" because of the small parts inside, and our squishy age guide explains our stricter limit.
What is a good squishy gift for a 12-year-old?
A single crunchy squishy or a butter stick is a safe start. For a surprise there are mystery boxes on our squishy sets page.
Are squishies OK for adults too?
Sure. Plenty of adults keep one on the desk, and our anti stress squishies page collects the ones made for squeezing.
