This crunchy fried dough squishy is a plump golden piece with a split along the top and darker crispy edges, a bit like a snack from a night market stall.

Why does the fried dough squishy crackle?

The maker fills each one with small building block pieces. When you squeeze, they rub against each other and you hear a dry crackle while the dough gives way. Afterwards the shell slowly rounds out again.

Is it really handmade?

The maker says every piece is formed by hand from TPR. So a crease may sit a little differently or an edge may come out darker than on the photo.

Shape

fried dough with split top

Shell

TPR, handmade

Filling

building block pieces

Sound

dry crackle

Color

golden yellow

Size and weight aren't given by the maker, so you won't find them here.
