Carry it into the sun and the maker says the white part blushes pink.

Does the dragon fruit squishy really change color?

According to the maker, yes. Sunlight turns the white flesh pink, and back indoors the color fades again. No batteries involved. Set it on a sunny windowsill for a bit, then carry it to a shady shelf and see how long the pink hangs on.

Why does it crackle?

The wedge is shaped by hand from TPR, a soft rubbery plastic. Inside sits a crunchy filling. So every squeeze comes with a small crackle, and the sound returns each time you press.

Shape

dragon fruit wedge

Shell

TPR, handmade

Filling

crunchy, crackles when squeezed

Special

white flesh turns pink in sunlight (maker's info)

Size

not given by the maker

Who would like a dragon fruit?

Fruit collectors who are tired of apples and want something rarer on the shelf.
